3 Forgotten Baltimore Ravens of the month: vol. 2

By Chris Schisler

The Baltimore Ravens have had a lot of great players in their history. We talk about Ray Lewis, Jonathan Ogden, and Ed Reed all the time. They get the credit that they so rightfully deserve. This series is all about the Ravens who were integral parts of the franchise for a bit and don’t have the same pull in the Baltimore Ravens’ lure.

In June, we got this series going. Last month we featured Ed Heartwell, Corey Redding, and Kim Herring. So if you’re keeping score at home that’s three defensive players. We’ll eventually get some offense in here, but the tally went three to nothing to defensive players for the second month in a row. Watch the video to see which stars for the purple and black were given the honor for July.

For the sake of making sure I get everybody their due, I’m trying to make the list have at least two players from the Brian Billick era in the initial videos. Today I put one linebacker from the John Harbaugh era. You can count on it that we’ll get some players from when Ted Marchibroda was the coach of the Baltimore Ravens.
